BIOGRAPHY

The Freak Radicals burst onto the live scene in the spring of 2002. Since then they have earned themselves a reputation as a hard hitting break beat collective. Often satirical, their infectious live energy and rock solid production has seen them bounce crowds all over Australia.

Their live set fuses jazz, hip hop, twisted pop and break-beat all mashed together with the tempo never dropping below a footstomping 110 b.p.m. Their lyrical flavour moves from graphic “signs of the times” soothsaying to get out of your mind good times. Whether you just want to dance or enhance your mind, The Freak Radicals are guaranteed to make you get up and groove.

•  Feature on Deuce 001, a local electronic and Hip Hop compilation (2005)

Debut Album “Guerillas in the Mix” is out September 2005. The Freak Radicals mash together breaks and hip hop for a lyrically rich, rhythmically smooth musical Mohitio of pop, people and politics.
