The Bird: Ben Walsh and Simon Durrington
The Bird is comprised of Ben Walsh (AKA Human) and Simon
Durrington. Combining Dub, Drum n' Bass, Tech-Trance and sounds of the Asian
Underground, these two have extensively toured Australia and even played the
Glastonbury festival in 1999. As a live collective, the explosive talents
of master Tabla player Bobby Singh and vocalist Suki Singh, coupled with the
visuals of Ciccada, make for a dynamic experience. The duo have released the
E.P "OoloO" and the current "Music For Reset People" mini
LP and are currently working on their debut full length album. Combining sequenced
electronics and masterful rhythmic syncopation, The Bird continue to fly high.
