September 2006 will celebrate the first decade of the Buddha-Bar Paris.

Indeed, it is in September 1996 that the Buddha Bar adventure began, near the place of “La Concorde” when a gigantic Buddha decided to transform the Parisian nights in the very heart of the City.

A real original and sophisticated place combined with a kitchen fusion coming straight from California plus a Lounge music of reference have quickly transformed this restaurant into a true institution, one of the place to be of the French capital.

To celebrate this incredible success story, the label George V Records offers us a triple digipack of anthology, made up of two Cds recalling the headlight moments of the Buddha Bar Lounge music experience through the years (with such legendary artists as Suba, Bebel Gilberto, Bliss, Nitin Sawhney...) and an exclusive DVD of 26 minutes about the creation and the development (including interviews, portraits and evenings to remember) of what is now reknown worldwide as the mythic Buddha-Bar.
