VARIOUS ARTISTS Vocalise

Following on from the success of the first two Unfold compilations (Heavyweight Rib Ticklers compiled by Mr Scruff and the club orientated phonic:hoop mix up) comes this, the third instalment in the series. The theme for this album concentrates on soulful vocal tunes hand picked by head honcho Robert Luis. As with all Unfold compilations this does not stick with one tempo or safe format and features a wide range of tunes from a variety of musical backgrounds. With music and production from the likes of Ashley ‘Xpress2’ Beedle’s Afro Art, Roni Size’s Full Cycle and Incognito to current jazzy/breaks producers Quantic, Domu and At Jazz – every track is a winner, showcasing a diversity of great production and distinctive vocals.
