STEPHANE POMPOUGNAC - Hello Mademoiselle

His name is associated for more than 10 years to the Hôtel Costes and its famous compilations, which have recently reached 2.5 millions sales worldwide. On his second album Hello Mademoiselle, Stéphane Pompougnac shows his deep artistic sensitivity, exploring songwriting, rap and of course electro, lounge and house music, that he produces with great feeling and elegant fluidity that builds an intimate electro-pop odyssey in the pure spirit of Hotel Costes…featuring French singing legend Alain Chamfort and cutting edge Danish producer Morten Varano from Slow Train.

Brought up in South-West France, Stephane Pompougnac, now 37, started his career at the Palace and Queen clubs in Paris, then moving to the more legendary Bains Douches, spawning ground for many up-and-coming DJ's looking to make a name for themselves in more opulent circles. Spotted here by Jean-Louis Costes, partner in the now well-known Hôtel Costes, Stéphane brought his influential style to the sumptuous surroundings of Paris¹ most coveted celebrity stopover (guests include the likes of the Rolling Stones, Madonna, Bruce Willis, Emma Bunton, Kylie and Craig David).

Stéphane is also the A List¹s choice of DJ; performing at Cameron Diaz's restaurant in Miami, the Bamboo Bar as well as playing at the London premier of Ali. In between you might find him playing at Estella Warren's birthday party in New York, at Club Indochine in Zurich for Christy Turlington. Or at his global residences: the LOTUS in New York, JET SET in Moscow, ROYAL MIRAGE (Dubaï), and still Hôtel Costes in Paris. …
